John B. Whitsett died Saturday at his home in Chicago. The remains were brought here Monday, the funeral occurring from the Baptist Church.
John B. Whitsett was born May 26, 1829, in Jefferson County, Indiana. He was married to Elizabeth A. King July 26th, 1849. He united with the Baptist Church at Zor August, 1847. He departed this life April 4, 1896, after an illness of two days. His beloved wife departed this life October , 1895.
